Here I am, freezing outside the Austrian National Library. It was rainy and in the mid-50s for most of the time
I was there - not complaining, just wish I brought warmer clothes!
(Wearing BR factory trench (retail), Kate Spade crossbody (sim)).

St. Stephen's Cathedral - too beautiful to miss inside and out. Plus it literally is located right smack dab in city center.
The wiener schnitzel, of course. / And for Austria's neighbors to the east, some traditional goulash with spätzle.
Whimsical wood clocks. / Owl sculptures on the main library for Vienna University of Technology.
Graben, around St. Stephen's Cathedral, is a fantastic pedestrians-only area that has a ton of shopping and cafes. Note-worthy on Graben is the Pestsäule, a beautiful baroque sculpture ... which happens to commemorate a terrible 17th century plaque epidemic.
My Viennese closet included spots (sim), some black and fluro boucle, a bejeweled collar, striped skirt, and a
utility vest (sim).

Walking through Hofburg Palace. / A hint of the beautiful roses in Volksgarten.
You can't get away with not having dessert in Vienna. The more the merrier! / Afternoon tea, tortes and strudels at the Cafe Mozart. Almost no room for dinner after this richness. Almost.
The street food in Vienna - hot dogs and chow mein, seriously! / Not so Austrian, but delish pizza nonetheless.
"Eclectic" kiddy pool-beach decor at an otherwise dignified dinner establishment. / A guardian of Hofburg Palace.
View from my hotel room of the Danube River - we were under threat of flooding the whole week but fortunately the river crested just short the day before I left. / Cute Coke bottle - it says something along the lines of "share a Coca-Cola with your lady."
Last evening in Vienna - dinner at Holy-Moly! on a renovated boat done in "graffiti-hipster" motif (is that a term?) / It's white asparagus season in Europe - yum!
Apparently this is nolstagia for German and Austrian kids - Nestle Bum Bum bar. Thick red candy coating, vanilla(-ish) ice cream and then a stick of bubble gum in the middle. Been there, done that, is all I can say about it. / From the top-floor bar at the DO & CO hotel in city center ... was so not cool enough for that place!
